Ranchi News: The Vande Bharat train route between Ranchi and Howrah has been rerouted. This train will now travel to Ranchi via Howrah, Kharagpur, Midnapore, Adra, Purulia, and Muri, according to the information. The Railways have given their green light for this. which is going to take effect today, December 3rd.
Executive Class (EC) Fare for Ranchi to Howrah
In terms of cost, you will need to pay Rs 2200 (including catering) for the Executive Class (EC) trip from Ranchi to Howrah. You will need to pay Rs 2045 for catering if you choose not to use it. On the other hand, you can get to Howrah from Ranchi for Rs 1030 if you take the Chair Car (CC) route, which costs Rs 1155 (with catering).
Budget-Friendly Options
The minimum fare is Rs 460 according to the South Eastern Railway’s fare chart. For Rs 460, you can take Vande Bharat from Kharagpur to Howrah to get to your destination. From Ranchi, the cheapest fare is Rs 470. The fare between Ranchi and Purulia station is this amount. If you want to take a chair car from Ranchi to Purulia, the cost will be Rs 470 (without catering). You will need to pay Rs 590 for Ranchi to Purulia if you wish to use the catering service. You will have to pay Rs 585 if you reserve a ticket with catering service from Howrah to Kharagpur or Kharagpur to Howrah.
