Ranchi News: In order to deal strictly with the Cyber Frauds in the city, The Ministry of Home Affairs issued a Helpline number to help the victims being trapped in the cyber fraud cases. The Ministry issued Helpline number 1930 to help victims of the online fraud cases. People can call on this helpline number and register their complaints. The Cyber Police will take action after registering the details of the caller.
How to Prevent Cyber Fraud Cases
Update Security Software: Make sure your security software is latest and Refresh it regularly
Log Off when not needed: Make sure you log off from your laptop or app on your cellphone once you aren’t using
Don’t stay online all the time: Go offline when it’s not required
Security Settings: Use Passcodes in your cell phone or laptops to enter your Secured areas
Never Use Public Wifi: Never use Public Wifi as hackers can easily connect to Public Wifi
Maximum Cyber Theft Cases reported in Delhi
The National Capital recorded the maximum cases of Cyber theft. If we take a look at the numbers, Delhi witnessed 82% of cyber frauds through different modes like online shopping, Banking Fraud, Loan Fraud, Property Fraud etc. The frauds have been using different tricks to lure people and commit crimes. The shocking truth is many educated people are also trapped by the frauds everyday.

If you suddenly discover you have been trapped in a Cyber fraud case, then dial this number 1930, get all your details registered, your Bank details, mode of transaction etc. Provide all the details being asked and then you will be given a Login ID or receipt number through text message. Remember you will have to get your complaint registered within 24 hours. Also make sure you don’t share your Privacy details with anyone on call even through text or e-mail.
