Ranchi News: The Indian Institute of Management is holding a two day Film Festival in association with Samvaad, a Tribal Conclave authorized by the Tata Steel. The two day event will have a host of activities like Dance performances, Story telling sessions, discussions with the Directors, Musical events etc. The event will have Veterans from many fields and they will share their knowledge and experience with the students of the IIM and also discuss about the problems and Social issues face by the people of Jharkhand.
No Entry Fee to attend the Festival
The Festival will be open for all the individuals and there will be no entry fee. People can come and participate in the event. The First Day will host the films by the famous Directors like Meghnath and Bijo Toppo, Srishtikatha and Nachi se Baanchi which will be followed by a cultural dance performance. Day Two will present films by the Upcoming Film Directors like Rupesh Kumar Sahu’s Rat trap, Abhijit Patro’s Johar and Purushotam Kumar’s Bandha Khet.
Main Purpose of the event is to develop bond with People
The main aim of the event is to promote the bond with the local people through IIM with the help of films that understand the issue of the common man and the state.
