Ranchi News: : In order to boost the Tribals in the city, IIM Ranchi has signed an MOU with National Skill development Corporation to boost Tribal Entrepreneurship in the city. The MOU plans to introduce employment opportunities for janjati regions through skill based interventions and to support their Hollistic development at the grass root level. The main aim of this internship program is to offer significant exposure to the 80 trainees from IIM Ranchi in the field of Social Projects.
NSDC to foster Tribal Entrepreneurship in Jharkhand
The students will be actively involved in the planning and strategy development efforts of Singi Dai Van Vigyan Kendra which is a multi skill development center. The program will be focusing on areas like Medicinal Plants, Horticulture and Aromatic Essential Oil elements aligning with the religion local resources and culture. The Director of the NSDC International said, we aim to provide skill upgradation Robust training and necessary tool kit to the students of IIM Ranchi extending the mentoring support to India’s tribal communities.
