Ranchi News: Medical clinics were opened on Sunday at the Jharkhand State Legal Service Authority (JHALSA) and the Ranchi civil court, with the purpose of providing immediate medical assistance to judicial officers, court staff, lawyers, litigants, and those involved in legal disputes.
Clinic opened in JHASLA
An online inauguration event titled ‘Colloquium On Child Rights: Legal Perspective and Training’ marked the opening of a clinic at both the JHASLA and the civil court complex in Ranchi, with one clinic being established at each location.
The clinic at JHALSA is equipped with four beds, medical professionals, nurses, and a stock of essential medications. Meanwhile, the clinic at the civil court boasts three beds, along with medical and para-medical personnel, as well as a supply of medicines. An official said, “In case anyone falls ill, he/ she would get immediate treatment.”
JHASLA launched campaign against child abuse
The Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority (JHALSA) has initiated an extensive 100-day campaign aimed at safeguarding vulnerable children in Jharkhand who are at risk of various forms of abuse. This campaign is a collaborative effort with the Jharkhand government’s women and child development department, the Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation, and Bachpan Bachao Andolan, with a collective message to these vulnerable children: “You are not alone.”
