Ranchi News: In order to address concerns pertaining to the city’s problems, the Ranchi Municipal Corporation (RMC) will soon open the “Connect Centre,” a round-the-clock one-stop grievance redressal point, at its headquarters.
Streamlined Grievance Process
RMC deputy administrator Rajneesh Kumar said, “Once operational, the centre will empower residents to register complaints at any time, offer a streamlined process for issues pertaining to garbage disposal, water supply, street lights, property holding, trade licenses, and more. The move aims to enhance transparency and responsiveness in addressing the concerns of citizens.”
Real-Time Grievance Tracking
The civic organisation used to run a helpline until 10 p.m. on weekdays. But now that the new system has been implemented, the service will be available around-the-clock. “The Connect Centre will also give real-time status of their grievances,” According to Kumar, a tender has been put out for this project. Kokar resident Upendra Gupta said, “The round-the-clock helpline is a welcome move as the city is flooded with several issues but the key will be to have a sustainable call centre.”
