All arrangements were made to ensure that the maps do not get damaged in any way. A separate map room was prepared in the Ranchi office where unauthorized entry is prohibited. All steps have been taken to ensure that termites do not damage the papers.
Sources said contract workers are running riot here. Barring the in-charge of the branch and an officer of the level of Assistant Settlement Officer, all others are contract workers. Instructions were given to remove these contract workers but they were not removed.
