Ranchi News: Ranchi Police introduces Emergency Call Box Service to help people trapped in emergency situations. People who land up in any form of emergencies like Medical Emergency, theft, accidents or any form of crisis can press the button the Emergency call box and ask for help. The person will have to inform about his details after pressing the ECB Button. Ranchi Police Personnel have been trained to help the people calling for help. These Emergency Boxes have been installed at 50 different locations of the city.
Main Purpose of the Box is to deliver Help to People
The main purpose of these boxes is to help people in hour of crisis and also to nab the criminals. As soon as the person presses the button, he or she will hear a sound from the box and the person will be then connected to the Police Control Room. The Cop will be able to see the person with the help of the cameras installed in the Control Room.
The information of the victim will not be disclosed
The Police Personnel will help people in 2 ways, first of all the Control Room will be able to see the person with the help of cameras and after knowing the location, they will send help to the person. Police will not disclose the information of the person. The Boxes are installed at these places- Raj Bhavan Mod, Shriram Mandir Chowk in Kanke Road, Ratu Road New Market Chowk, Shani Mandir Chowk in Gadikhana, Shri Rani Sati Mandir Road Chowk in Ratu Road, Sahajanand Chowk, Harmu Chowk, Argora Chowk, Satellite Colony Chowk etc.
