Ranchi News: Prices of government land and flats hiked, how it may affect you?

Ranchi News: Registry of land, flat, houses and the entire state will become costlier in the state. The government rates of land, houses and flats in Ranchi have been increased by an average of 10 percent. The Deputy Commissioner had given his nod for the proposal of the hike in the rates. Earlier the cost of the land was 2.80 lakh per decimal, which will now be 4.50 lakh per decimal. Similarly the price of the flats were also hiked. The fare on the land, apartments, flats has been hiked by 10 percent. The fresh hikes will be effective from August 1st. Due to adjustment of Mauza and Ward in the new rate, there has been a huge increase in the rate of many Mauza properties.

Prices of many Properties have been hiked

The Kanke’s broad mouza was outside the Municipal Corporation, so the land there was priced at 1.20 lakh per decimal. Whereas, this time the wide Mauza is in Ward-2 of the Municipal Corporation. It has been included, due to which the cost of land here has increased by 375 percent. After the hike, it will be difficult for the Middle Class man to book a property in the state. The hike will effect the pocket of the buyer in terms of budget, EMIs etc. The desired buyers can wait for some time till the hike gets a little low.

Last day to submit forms is July 31st

Now the rate of land here has gone up to Rs 4.50 lakh per decimal. July 31 will be the last day of registry at the government rates of land, houses and flats applicable in the year 2021. All the slots for that day have been booked. About 250 deeds have been registered on Friday. The process of registry continued till around 8.30 pm.
