Ranchi News: Ayushman Card holders now have improved access to healthcare thanks to a major effort launched by Ranchi, Jharkhand‘s Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in a historic step. This action is in reaction to grievances expressed by patients who were required to pay out-of-pocket for medical care at RIMS despite possessing an Ayushman Card.
Streamlined Benefits for Ayushman Card Holders
Patients can now get full medical care at RIMS without having to worry about paying for it because they have the Ayushman Card. To guarantee that holders of Ayushman Cards receive the benefits to which they are entitled without difficulty, the administration has sent orders to all departments. This include accurately recording and notifying the appropriate authorities of all accepted Ayushman Card holders.
Monthly Evaluation for Continuous Improvement
In order to verify the effectiveness of this programme, RIMS will evaluate the advantages offered to Ayushman Card holders on a monthly basis. By using this proactive approach, they hope to ensure that holders of Ayushman Cards get all the facilities and services to which they are officially entitled.
Infrastructure Enhancements for Patient Convenience
To increase patient convenience and the quality of healthcare services as a whole, RIMS also plans to focus on infrastructural upgrades. There are plans to build a underpass and pathway for improved accessibility. Furthermore, the basement of the former building will probably be transformed into six new wards, adding an additional 300 beds and greatly expanding the hospital’s capacity.
Commencement of Construction Work
Construction on the underpass, pathway and new wards is set to begin soon. These upgrades are intended to not only increase accessibility but also raise the quality of healthcare services supplied by RIMS to its patients.
