Ranchi News: The Health Minister, Banna Gupta, will inaugurate the PPP mode Dialysis Unit, Library, and Referral Nutrition Treatment Center at RIMS on October 31. Additionally, a Rest Center for patients and their families outside the Yellow Fever Vaccination Center, Trauma, and Radiology Center will also be inaugurated.
OPD basis Dialysis center:
The Dialysis Center, operated by NephroPlus, has already been initiated at RIMS on an OPD basis since October 17. Starting from October 31, regular dialysis for patients will commence at RIMS. This facility will provide free dialysis services to cardholders, Ayushman Bharat beneficiaries, and Chief Minister Serious Illness Scheme patients. General patients can avail dialysis services for a nominal fee of 1341 INR.
The Library with a seating capacity of 501 individuals is located within the Academic Blocks and will officially open on October 31. The library is equipped with 92,278 books and 81 computers with internet access, offering e-study materials for students.
Yellow Fever Vaccination Center:
The inauguration of the Yellow Fever Vaccination Center will also take place at RIMS. As a trial, 12 individuals have already received the vaccine before the official inauguration. Yellow fever vaccination is mandatory for travelers going abroad and will be beneficial for the public. The Urology and Nephrology departments have increased the number of beds, and additional beds are being added in the Neurology and Psychiatry departments.
A total of 33 doctors have been selected for various departments, and the selected doctors have been directed to complete the joining process promptly. This will significantly enhance medical services for patients at RIMS across multiple specialties.
