Package Three Recognition
Chhedi Paswan, the BJP MP for Sasaram, had written to the PM’s office to ask for this. Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister of Surface Transport, replied to the MP’s letter by stating that Rohtas will be crossed by the Varanasi-Ranchi Kolkata Green Field Highway. Its work from package three has been recognised.
Consultations with States
This route’s Panduka bridge over the Son River will link to NH 119. This will require realigning the Akbarpur-Zardaha road. Three packages make up the Varanasi-Ranchi Kolkata Green Field Highway construction project. With a budget of Rs 2998 crore, the project will be finished in two years. The project will begin in the Chandauli village of Rewasa and end in the Rohtas village of Konki.
