The incident occurred as the Prime Minister was leaving the Birsa Munda Jayanti event during his two-day visit to Jharkhand. Swift action by security personnel ensured the woman was apprehended, allowing the convoy to proceed after a brief pause.

The woman, expressing a longstanding desire to meet the Prime Minister, made the desperate attempt during his visit to Ranchi. She had reportedly been in Delhi for 10 days, attempting to meet PM Modi without success. Ranchi SSP Chandan Sinha confirmed her arrest, highlighting her persistent efforts to connect with the Prime Minister.
Prime Minister’s Continued Itinerary:
Following the incident, PM Modi’s convoy briefly stopped, but he continued with his scheduled program after the security situation was addressed. Earlier in the day, the Prime Minister paid floral tributes to tribal icon Birsa Munda on his birth anniversary in Ranchi. He also launched a Rs 24,000-crore project aimed at the development of Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs). Additionally, PM Modi initiated the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ and released the 15th installment of Rs 18,000 crore under the PM-KISAN scheme during his visit.
