To cope with the increasing cold, people are resorting to purchasing woolen clothes and jackets. The mornings begin with fog and mist, giving way to clearer skies in the afternoon. However, the nights continue to unleash the harshness of winter on the public.

Looking ahead, there is a possibility of partial cloud cover after morning fog on the 22nd and 23rd of December. The weather forecast indicates a persistently dry spell during this period. Weather scientist Abhishek Anand from the Meteorological Center highlighted that consistent changes in weather patterns have led to a significant increase in cold temperatures. Evenings are turning notably cold, with nighttime temperatures dropping below ten degrees Celsius.

Therefore, the coming four to five days are anticipated to witness a further intensification of the cold spell. The continuous alterations in weather patterns are contributing to the drop in temperatures, with evenings becoming chilly, and late-night temperatures dipping below ten degrees Celsius.

The situation calls for residents to brace themselves for an extended period of cold weather, emphasizing the need for appropriate measures to stay warm and comfortable during this challenging phase.
