In a scathing attack, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Member of Parliament Sanjay Singh has leveled serious allegations against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) regarding a purported conspiracy to arrest Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
Sanjay Singh Exposes Flaws in Liquor Scam Investigation
According to Sanjay Singh, the so-called “liquor scam” is, in fact, a ploy orchestrated by the BJP to target Arvind Kejriwal and the AAP. He claims that the ED’s investigation has been tainted by the removal of crucial statements that did not incriminate Kejriwal.
Contradictory Statements from Magunta Reddy and Son
Sanjay Singh highlighted the inconsistencies in the statements made by Magunta Reddy and his son, Raghav Magunta. Initially, Magunta Reddy acknowledged meeting Arvind Kejriwal, but this was in relation to a charitable trust land matter. However, after his son was arrested and imprisoned for five months, Magunta Reddy’s statement changed, implicating Kejriwal in the alleged liquor scam.
Enforcement Directorate’s Selective Handling of Evidence
Sanjay Singh alleges that the ED has been selective in its handling of evidence, choosing to disregard nine statements that did not mention Arvind Kejriwal’s involvement. Instead, the ED relied on the seventh statement of Raghav Magunta, which was obtained after five months of alleged “torture” in jail.
The BJP’s Alleged Hand in Targeting Kejriwal
The AAP MP further alleged that Magunta Reddy, who is being portrayed as a central figure in the liquor scam, has joined hands with the BJP to finish off the Aam Aadmi Party. Interestingly, Reddy gave a statement against Kejriwal and the AAP on July 16th, and was granted bail just two days later, on July 18th.
Magunta Reddy’s Ties to Prime Minister Modi Questioned
Sanjay Singh also pointed out the close ties between Magunta Reddy and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, noting that Magunta Reddy is contesting elections from the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and is using the Prime Minister’s photograph to seek votes, despite being labeled a “scamster” by the BJP and the ED.
AAP Stance – Exposing Alleged BJP Conspiracy
Sanjay Singh’s explosive revelations aim to shed light on the purported conspiracy orchestrated by the BJP and the ED to target Arvind Kejriwal and the AAP. The AAP’s unwavering stance is that the liquor scam allegations are a political ploy to undermine the party’s efforts and the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal.
