The fire started in the third-floor office of the Tribal Regional Development Project and quickly spread to the fourth-floor offices of the Directorate of Health. The Satpura building saw a stampede-like atmosphere as a result of the fire’s rapid spread. The panic started.

The Tribal Regional Development Project and the Directorate of Health are the two offices where the initial information concerning the fire was discovered. In both departments, crucial papers were reduced to ashes. Only after a thorough examination will it become clear which department’s branch records were destroyed in the fire. To put out the fire, the fire department had to work hard. It was anticipated that the fire, once it assumed its serious shape, would spread to a few other fourth-floor offices of the Directorate of Health. Initial information indicates that a short circuit caused the fire to start. The office of the Tribal Regional Development Project is where the fire originated. The employees and locals attempted to put out the fire at first, but their efforts were ineffective. The police officers in charge of the building’s security were then able to alert the fire department. The municipal corporation and police officers arrived quickly with a dozen fire trucks. There were difficulties putting out the fire on the third floor. After the fire started, the entire Satpura building was evacuated. Thousands of workers gathered in front of the structure.

Arun Yadav Questions Origins of Satpura Bhawan Fire
Arun Yadav, a former Union minister and prominent Congressman, has questioned the cause of the Satpura Bhawan fire. In a tweet, he claimed that the Satpura building caught fire after Priyanka Gandhi denounced frauds at the “Vijay Shankhnaad rally” in Jabalpur. It has destroyed important documents to ashes.
