Jabalpur: In the Vedika Thakur murder case in Jabalpur, new information has come to light showing that the accused BJP leader, Priyansh Vishwakarma, drove his car for an incredible 7 hours after murdering the deceased. The inquiry has also shown that Vishwakarma attempted to destroy evidence by fleeing with both the gun used in the crime and the DVR of the office’s CCTV camera. An MBA student named Vedika Thakur was allegedly shot on June 16 in her office by a BJP leader. Vedika was on life support at the hospital on Monday when she passed away from her injuries after a 10-day battle for her life.
BJP Leader’s Charges Escalate to Homicide Investigation After Vedika Thakur’s Demise
Priyansh Vishwakarma, a BJP leader and constructor, was detained by the police on June 19 on suspicion of shooting the young woman. He was initially imprisoned after being booked under Section 307. But after Vedika’s unfortunate passing, the accusations were upgraded to Section 302, making him a suspect in a homicide investigation.

Bullet Lodged in Vedika Thakur’s Body Sent for Analysis
After being sent for a post-mortem test, Vedika’s body was found to have a bullet lodged in her, which the police found and took possession of. The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) has now received the bullet for analysis. The bullet will be examined by ballistic specialists at the FSL to see if it was shot from the pistol that is thought to be in Priyansh’s possession. In response to the tragedy, the opposition Congress has lambasted the BJP government and demanded that the state’s ministers take responsibility.
