According to Delhi police, they are looking into the “plot” and Ashutosh’s involvement as well. 20 witnesses have so far provided statements, they continued.
Police requested that the suspects be sent into court custody because they don’t want to keep them in police custody any longer.
They added that Ashutosh’s role was different and that he was handler of the individual who didn’t have a driver’s licence.
The police also disclosed to the court that they have six separate CCTV videos and that the path was lengthy. Two minutes after the collision, one of them demonstrated how two of the accused got out of the car and noticed someone trapped underneath it.
They claimed to have created an exhaustive timeline, spoken with the accused directly, and located a new witness. The court was informed that they are currently able to recognise faces on CCTV.
