Public Interest Lawsuits Filed

A five-member expert group chaired by a former Supreme Court Justice is to conduct an inquiry, according to the petition submitted to the Supreme Court. In addition, it is demanded that the UP government issue a status report on the occurrence and prosecute the involved officials. In the PIL filed in the Allahabad High Court, demands have been made for a CBI investigation and the suspension of important officials.
AP Singh to Investigate Stampede on Behalf of Bhole Baba
In the instance of the Hathras stampede, 121 individuals have perished thus far. It is possible to arrest Narayan Sarkar Hari (also known as Bhole Baba) at any time. Bhole Baba has invited renowned Lawyer AP Singh to argue his case. The rush outside the satsang in Hathras has been dubbed a plot by Narayan Sarkar Hari. On Baba’s behalf, Supreme Court attorney AP Singh will investigate this case.
Attorney AP Singh stated that a comprehensive investigation into this situation is warranted. This same AP Singh is representing Seema Haider in the legal battle. The accused’s attorney in the Nirbhaya case was none other than AP Singh. A judicial panel has been established by the Yogi government to look into the Hathras tragedy. Within two months of this notification being sent out, the commission will turn in its investigative report. The commission members will also look into whether there was a plot or an accident that led to the stampede.
Post-Mortem Reveals Suffocation as Main Cause of Death
The majority of those who perished in the Hathras event were suffocated, according to the post-mortem examination of the deceased. It has also been shown that the chest’s ribs fractured as a result of too much strain.
There were reports of dead bodies piled up everywhere on the Satsang Ground. Three busses carrying 300 people had traveled to the district for the satsang. They gave thanks to God when they made it back home safely.
