Sanjeev Jeeva Murder: According to police sources, at least four individuals, including the gunman, were in the Lucknow district court on Wednesday when mobster Sanjeev Maheshwari Jeeva, a close associate of Mukhtar Ansari, was shot and killed. According to authorities, the shooters had a plan B ready as well. They said that the shooter had concealed the pistol on the court grounds. The suspect’s cronies were present inside the courthouse to aid the gunman if he missed his intended victim.
Gangster’s Bodyguard Killed by Shooter Disguised as Lawyer
Sanjeev Maheshwari Jeeva, a bodyguard for gangster-politician Mukhtar Ansari, was shot and killed on the grounds of a Lucknow court on Wednesday, according to the police. Vijay Yadav, who was disguised as a lawyer, shot and killed Sanjeev Jeeva. Sanjeev Jeeva was entering the court grounds when the shooter allegedly started firing from behind. Two-year-old girl and police officer both suffered injuries in the event and were sent to the hospital right afterwards. Sanjeev Jeeva was charged in 24 other instances, including those involving murder, fraud, and criminal conspiracy, including the killings of BJP MLA Krishnanand Rai and former state minister Brahm Dutta Dwivedi.

Details Emerge in Lucknow Court Assassination
According to the authorities, Vijay Yadav repeatedly conducted a recce of the area in an effort to gather all the information Sanjeev Jeeva would need. Before plotting and carrying out the murder, Yadav made multiple circuits around the courthouse twice. Vijay Yadav, the shooter, had been employed by a private business in Lucknow for the previous two months. The shooter’s cell phone was off, and he had not spoken to his family in the previous two weeks. Vijay Yadav was apprehended in 2016 and sentenced to prison for kidnapping and raping a young girl. Six shots were fired at Sanjeev Jeeva, four of which struck his chest, according to the post-mortem report. He was struck below the chest by the last two rounds. The autopsy results found that Sanjeev Jeeva was killed by a single shot from a Magnum Alpha revolver. Following the incident, Lucknow’s security has been stepped up, and section 144 has been implemented. A three-person SIT team that was given a week to complete the investigation arrived at the crime scene late on Wednesday night, and the courthouse is now under close surveillance. At the Lucknow district court, police officers have also been checking the IDs of solicitors, guests and staff members.

Sanjeev Jeeva’s Wife Seeks Release for Funeral Attendance
Another noteworthy event is that Sanjeev Jeeva’s wife, who is charged under the Gangster Act, went to the Supreme Court today to ask for temporary protection. She is requesting temporary release so that she might attend her husband’s funeral ceremonies. “You want temporary security? Have you contacted the Supreme Court? Tomorrow, please circulate and bring up the case. No order may be passed at this time. The bench declared, “We must hear the case.” The petitioner was directed to go to the high court after the counsel claimed that one-day protection may be given.
