Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojna: A few months prior to Maharashtra’s assembly elections, the state administration was observed to be replenishing its coffers. Taking on the role of Finance Minister as well, Ajit Pawar unveiled the budget on Friday. He also introduced the “Mukhyamantri Annapurna” plan, which will provide three free gas cylinders a year to a household of five.

Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Annapurna Yojana

According to Ajit Pawar, as part of the Maharashtra government’s Chief Minister Annapurna Yojana, every home will receive three free cylinders annually. It is anticipated that tiny and low-income families will benefit greatly from this.

Ajit Pawar, the deputy chief minister, also revealed a financial aid program for women in the state budget. W”e are pleased to present Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Behan,” he declared. Every woman will receive Rs. 1500 per month under this. The implementation of this plan is scheduled for July 2024. Women who are between the age range of 21 to 60 will receive allowance under this. He declared that this plan will receive a yearly budgetary allocation of Rs 46,000 crore. It is known that it is being implemented four months before of the state’s October assembly elections.

Continued Support for Milk Producers

The state’s farmers received excellent news from Maharashtra’s deputy chief minister as well. “Every farmer in Maharashtra growing cotton and soybeans will receive a bonus of Rs 5,000 per hectare,” he declared. Additionally, farmers who produce milk would still receive a bonus of Rs 5 per litre even after July 1. When it comes to animal attacks-related deaths, the government has stepped its financial support.

Instead of giving Rs 20 lakh, it has now been decided to award Rs 25 lakh. A subsidy of over Rs 850 crore, or Rs 350 per quintal, has been granted to help the state’s onion-growing farmers financially. A revolving fund of Rs 200 crore each is being formed, according to the Deputy Chief Minister, for the purchase of cotton and onions at fixed prices.
