Tilak Nagar Visa Scam Busted! 14 Nepalese and 2 Indian Passports Seized, Check How To Protect Yourself from Visa Frauds

Authorities have busted a counterfeit visa business in Tilak Nagar, detaining six agents and confiscating 14 Nepalese and two Indian passports containing bogus Schengen visas.

Visa Fraud: As many as 5000 passports reportedly manufactured in a visa factory located at the posh Tilak Nagar area were seized by the authorities. Operation led by IGI Airport DCP Usha Rangnani led to six arrested persons suspected to be involved in making illegal passports with Schengen visas.

Recovery of Fake Passports

As many as 14 Nepalese and two Indian passports that were fraudulently stamped with the Schengen visas were recovered. Furthermore, several stamps and paper materials considered to be used in generating fake visas were seized during the operation. The operation has been hailed as significant in dismantle major visa fraud scheme. An investigation to unearth the network of the individuals involved, and how they developed and distributed their counterfeit visas, has been mounted.
