Madhya Pradesh: On Wednesday, a car carrying five members of the same family crashed into a tree close to the Nausar hamlet in Harda, Madhya Pradesh, and caught fire. The victims were all burned to death. According to a police official quoted by the news agency PTI, the car took fire after one of the tyres ruptured. According to Sushil Patel, the Timarni police station’s in-charge, the accident happened when the victims were travelling from Deepgaon to their hometown of Varkala after taking part in a wedding celebration.

He claimed that after being told, the police sped to the scene in an attempt to save the victims, but in vain.

Authorities Probe Car Crash and Bus Collision Incidents

Investigations into the incident are ongoing, and a case has been filed and the bodies submitted for autopsies. Separately, according to police and PTI, a bus crashed with the car of Haryana Minister Banwari Lal’s convoy earlier on Tuesday. In the Jind district of Haryana, the incident happened between Kila Zaffargarh and Budha Khera. However, the event has not yet been linked to any reported injuries. According to the authorities, Highway 152D was being used by Banwari Lal’s convoy at the time of the crash. According to the official, the bus struck the car and broke its windscreen, as reported by PTI. It was a private bus from Rajasthan, which has also been confirmed by officials.
