Umesh Pal murder case: Akhilesh Yadav’s photo with accused Sadaqat Khan goes viral; Congress, BJP attack SP

Umesh Pal murder case: As details related to Umesh Pal murder case continue to unravel, photos of Samajwadi Party supremo Akhilesh Yadav posing with key conspirer Sadaqat Khan have gone viral across social media platforms. On Monday, UP Congress took to its official Twitter handle and shared a picture where the SP chief was seen shaking hands with Sadaqat Khan as they posed for the camera. 

Congress takes a dig at Akhilesh Yadav over a viral photo 

UP Congress on Tuesday took to Twitter to share a picture of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav with Sadaqat Khan.

Sharing the pictures, UP Congress in a tweet said, “Be it BJP or SP. If both are involved in holding the finger (hand) of criminals, then they are two sides of the same coin.”

Dy CM Pathak calls Samajwadi Party ‘nursery of criminals’

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak also took potshots at Samajwadi Party and called it a ‘nursery of criminals’. 

“Our government has zero tolerance against crime. The whole state knows that the Samajwadi Party is a nursery of criminals. But we are committed to ensure that no matter what reach or clout any criminal has, we will not spare that person,” Pathak said.

Samajwadi Party reacts

“One can get a photo clicked with anyone. Yesterday, the CM and I had a photo together. It’s the age of social media , anyone comes and gets a photo clicked,” Akhilesh Yadav said.

Responding to the allegations levelled by the opposition, the official twitter handle of Samajwadi Party Media Cell shared an image of Sadaqat Khan posing with former BJP MLA Udaybhan Kawariya.
