Umesh Pal murder case: Another Atiq gang shooter, Mohammed Ghulam, involved in the murder case of Umesh Pal was tracked down on Sunday by Prayagraj Police. Previously, the police gunned down Vijay Kumar in the case. According to media reports, Ghulam has links with Pakistan and he was instrumental in planning the murder case of Umesh Pal. He had reportedly made arrangements for his stay in Ajmer where his phone was also traced.
Atiq Ahmed to be shifted to Prayagraj
The UP police will be bringing Atiq Ahmed rom Gujarat’s Sabarmati jail to Prayagraj via road in a police van. The police is also planning to conduct a medical test on Atiq Ahmed, suggested media reports.
The police is planning to bring him through a route that passes through Shivpuri in Madhya Pradesh and Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, a UP Police team has already reached Gujarat jail for laying the roadmap of bringing him to Prayagraj.
Atiq Ahmed aide injured during enounter
Jarrar Ahmed, an aide to Atiq Ahmed, was injured on Saturday during an encounter with police in Kulli village. He was later admitted to the district hospital for treatment.
