Deputy CM Orders FIR and Registration Cancellation
‘If the complaint is confirmed to be true, orders have been given to the CMO in Bareilly to file a FIR against the responsible physician and hospital administration, cancel the registration of the said hospital with immediate effect, and make the full report of the proceedings available within 24 hours,’ according to Pathak. In place of tongue surgery, a two and a half-year-old kid had circumcision on June 23 at M Khan Hospital, Stadium Road. The relatives reported the event to the police after it happened. Numerous Hindu organisations flocked to the scene and denounced the circumcision as soon as the occurrence became public. After learning about the event, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak gave Dr. Balbir Singh, the chief medical officer in Bareilly, the order to look into it and take appropriate action.
