UP Hospital’s License Revoked Over Shocking ‘Circumcision’ Incident Involving 3-Year-Old

Uttar Pradesh News: On the orders of the deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak, the licence of M Khan Hospital was revoked when it was discovered that a 3-year-old kid had been circumcised in a hospital in Bareilly. Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, who also oversees health policy, stated in a tweet sent out on Saturday that he had sent a team from the health department to the hospital to look into the situation.

Deputy CM Orders FIR and Registration Cancellation

‘If the complaint is confirmed to be true, orders have been given to the CMO in Bareilly to file a FIR against the responsible physician and hospital administration, cancel the registration of the said hospital with immediate effect, and make the full report of the proceedings available within 24 hours,’ according to Pathak. In place of tongue surgery, a two and a half-year-old kid had circumcision on June 23 at M Khan Hospital, Stadium Road. The relatives reported the event to the police after it happened. Numerous Hindu organisations flocked to the scene and denounced the circumcision as soon as the occurrence became public. After learning about the event, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak gave Dr. Balbir Singh, the chief medical officer in Bareilly, the order to look into it and take appropriate action.

Panel of Physicians Investigate Hospital’s Circumcision Incident

The panel of physicians investigated the situation at the hospital, according to Chief Medical Officer Dr. Balbir Singh, and they also recorded the doctor and the entire staff’s testimony. Additionally, the child’s family members’ statements were also recorded. According to Dr. Balbir Singh, the hospital’s licence has been suspended and all essential paperwork has been taken into custody. The matter is currently the subject of more study.
