UP News: Local Municipal Corporation has given its nod to Private Firm to launch Cruise Service between Nayaghat and Guptarghat from 8th September. All the Tourists visiting Ayodhya will be able to enjoy the service from Friday. The service will formally start from Friday evening after the Flagg off ceremony. The cruise service is named as ‘Jatayu’ as it is inspired from the Ramayana. Authorities have ensured all safety precautions for the passengers when they will board the service. Passengers will be charged Rs 300 as Ticket Fee for trip between 2 ghats.
Boat has the capacity to Accommodate 100 Passengers
The Service boat will be Fully Air Conditioned and has the capacity to accommodate over 100 Passengers in one time. The boat will take a trip to the Ghats and temples of the city via Saryu River. Tourists will be able to enjoy Evening Arti of Saryu River during the ride. Passengers will be given the option of having snacks and meals during the trip.
Authorities plan to launch ‘Pushpak’ Service also
‘Jatayu’ is the first Cruise service being launched in Ayodhya to attract Tourists. Authorities also planned to launch ‘Pushpak’ during the end of the year. The Pushpak vessel will be bigger than ‘Jatayu’ and it will have a capacity to accommodate 150 passengers.
