UP Government’s Ambitious Electricity Generation Target

It is stated that this big initiative of the UP government has the potential to generate 160 MW of electricity in total, which will not only solve Bundelkhand’s power crisis but also play a significant role in fulfilling India’s solar energy objectives.

A 100 MW solar panel would be built on Matatila Dam in Bundelkhand, a 50 MW solar panel on Arjun Sagar Dam, and a 10 MW solar panel on Jamni Dam, per the information provided from the UP government’s official X handle. Additionally, the Yogi government’s special project would support solar energy, which has the potential to generate 160 MW of electricity.

The energy crisis in Bundelkhand, UP, can be resolved by installing solar panels on the Matatila, Jamni, and Arjun Sagar Dams.
