UP News: The city will soon have the largest Wetland. People will be able to witness rare species of birds in this Wetland. The proposal to built this Wetland has been put forward by Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam. Over 51 crore is likely to be spent on the construction of the Wetland and it will be built around an area of over 50 acres. The Wetland will be built in Ashraf Nagar, Bijnor next to Bangla Bazar. This land was being encroached earlier that’s why it wasn’t used for any other purpose. Now the encroachment is being removed. The Wetland will be built on this land.

Construction work will be done in 3 phases

The construction work will be done in three phases. 18 crores will be spent in the first phase. 21 crore in the second phase, and 11 crore in the third phase. The Wetland will be built on the basis of everything natural like it will look like a forest, there will be separate pathways for walking along the river banks, natural fodder will be arranged for birds.

Proper System in place to throw away Dirty Water

People will be able to do photography also inside the zone. Authorities will not allow dirty water to enter inside the area. There is a proper system in place to throw away the dirty water. Authority is also planning to built a picnic spot here.
