UP News: In a horrific event, a Muslim teenager broke into an old Shiva temple in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh, and attacked the worshippers. CCTV cameras placed within the temple recorded the incident. On social media, the incident’s footage is trending. In the footage, it is visible that a man is brandishing a stick and attacking the visiting devotees. In the incident, several devotees suffered injuries. The occurrence took place on Friday.
Attacker Strikes Devotees in Broad Daylight
According to reports, the man ambushed the devotees while hiding within the temple and attacked them in broad daylight. The event took place inside the Bangarmau police station district’s Bodheshwar temple. The man entered the temple and attacked the worshippers, as shown in the viral footage on social media. In the footage, he can be seen using a stick or rod to strike an elderly guy within the temple. After the attack, there was terror among the followers.
Temple Attacker Identified
The individual has been identified as Pappu (26), a resident of Bangarmau’s Mohalla Dargah Sharif and the son of Javed. The offender was apprehended within the temple by other worshippers and turned over to the police. After assaulting a devotee on his head within the temple, the perpetrator was charged with attempted murder. The young person has been taken into custody and a FIR has been filed against him.
