Government Implements Measures to Prevent Dengue and Malaria Outbreaks in Uttar Pradesh Schools
Water logging and inadequate sanitation are frequently blamed for dengue and malaria outbreaks. In order to address this, the government has given the necessary ministries instructions to make sure that there is no water buildup on or near school grounds. Additionally, precautions have been taken to avoid water buildup in potted plants on school property. In order to reduce disease vectors, schools are urged to maintain cleanliness and engage in fogging initiatives in collaboration with local authorities. All Basic Education Officers will designate a nodal teacher in each school to increase student awareness. These instructors will be crucial in informing pupils about communicable diseases and motivating them to follow the new clothing code. In order to facilitate mosquito control methods, they will also coordinate with the appropriate departments and make sure that concerns with water logging are solved.
