Uttarakhand News: Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority is going to built Ghat on the banks of Yamuna in Haripur.  The Ghat will be built over a budget of seven crores. The authority is planning to boost the Tourism sector with this move. Unlike the Arti which held in Haridwar’s Har ki Paudi every evening, the same way Yamuna Arti will be held in Kalsi to promote tourism in the city. To implement the scheme, the authority is planning to construct beautiful Ghat on the bank of Yamuna in Haripur with a budget of around 7 crore rupees.

Uttarakhand CM likely to lay the Foundation Stone of the Project

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is likely to lay the foundation stone of this scheme soon. The Mussoorie Dehradun development authority is exploring the possibilities of promoting the Tourism sector in the state with an idea to attract more and more tourists. This Ghat will be over 170 meter long and its width will be 15 meters. After receiving the proposal from Namami Gange Project, authority has made a DPR within a month.

Ghat will be illuminated with Solar Lights

The Ghat will be decorated with Solar Lights, and is likely to be completed within 12 month period. All facilities for the Tourists will be made outside the Ghat. The Tourist will have Parking and seating arrangements also. Apart from Arti, other Religious events will also be organized. This move will also help in promoting Tourism.
