On Tuesday 5 people died after balcony of building collapsed in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh. Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, has provided a cash help package of Rs 4 lakh for the relatives of those killed in the building collapse.
On the route going to the Banke Bihari temple in Vrindavan, the incident happened.
A portion of the structure was seen collapsing on individuals on CCTV, generating a commotion in the neighbourhood.
As people got rescued from the debris, district administration and police officers flocked to the scene. In order to treat them, they were taken to hospitals.
According to Mathura’s Additional Chief Medical Officer, the event claimed the lives of five persons and injured nearly ten others.
