Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami organises review meeting for preparation Kanwar fair

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday held a review meeting of the preparations for the Kanwar fair at CCR, Haridwar. During this he said that the Kanwar Mela will break the records of last year. The fair will be made easy and simple. There is no shortage of budget for the fair, all the preparations have been completed. All departments will work on the time that is left.

Kanwariyas will have a grand welcome

CM Dhami said that last year flowers were showered on Kanwariyas by helicopter. This year he will be given an even grander welcome.

Appeal to Kedarnath Yatris

CM Dhami appealed to the passengers coming for Kedarnath Yatra to ensure that they travel only after taking information about the weather.

It is noteworthy that five crore Shiva devotees are expected to attend the Kanwar Yatra starting from July 4, in view of which the state government has stepped up the preparations.

In the meeting, the Chief Minister directed the officers to complete the preparations for the successful completion of the yatra and also took suggestions from the public representatives in this regard.

Talking to reporters after the meeting, Dhami said that there will be no shortage in the service, respect and security of Shiv devotees, nor will there be any shortage of budget for Kanwar.
