Dehradun News: The Medical Services Selection Board has dismissed allegations of malpractices in the recruitment examination conducted for 253 posts of Ayurveda doctors. He said that the recruitment has been done with full transparency.

Board President Dr. DS Rawat said this during a press conference at the board office on Monday. He told that some people are spreading misleading things about the recruitment exam in the social media, while the delegation of Uttarakhand Berojgar Sangh has also alleged irregularities in the recruitment.

A delegation led by Shiv Prasad Semwal along with President of Unemployed Union Bobby Panwar met Dr. DS Rawat raising objections on several points. After that the chairman of the board termed all these allegations as baseless. He said that the recruitment examination was conducted under the service rules made by the government in 2020. As part of the recruitment process, the first written test was conducted, which was only a screening test.

On the basis of this test three candidates were called for interview against one seat. He said that the students who scored less marks in the written examination were selected only in the reserved categories. In such a situation, the allegation of selection of those who score low marks in the examination is completely wrong. He said that the interview process was of 100 marks out of which 60 marks were decided for interview while 40 marks were decided for academics. He said that 59 out of 60 marks were not given to any candidate in the interview.
