Pushkar Singh Dhami, the chief minister of Uttarakhand, emphasised the importance of social media in aiding quick information distribution on Monday. He asserted that social media plays a significant role in quick information sharing today.
He acknowledged the effectiveness of succinct blogs and tweets in bridging social divides.
In a formal statement from CMO, Dhami stressed the importance of social media as a tool for effectively informing the public about public welfare initiatives.
He also emphasised the value of using up-to-date content on current issues through technology advancements and promoting youth participation.
Dhami demanded that posts on social media be supported by facts and forbade their abuse.
The Chief Minister added that giving people real information about current concerns would increase their credibility.
He voiced his concern over the uptick in disruptive and anti-development forces’ actions on social media platforms.
The Chief Minister stated that while social media enables social projects to reach the public through a variety of channels, the language of the content should be straightforward and understandable. These comments were given during a programme that highlighted service, effective leadership, and care for the underprivileged.
Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, India has undergone revolutionary changes and is developing a new age and work culture, as described by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
As part of Prime Minister Modi’s overall plan, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also highlighted that India has been granted the chance to preside over G-20 sessions.
Dhami complimented the Prime Minister for his effective management, which has helped India’s economy move up the rankings from 11th to fifth.
The Chief Minister claimed that India is seeing an unprecedented level of cultural advancement thanks to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Sanatan flag is being raised over the globe, and the significance of the religious hubs of our faith is being highlighted with the same pride that it should have.
He claimed that, similar to the Chardham Yatra, ongoing efforts are being done by the Mandir Mala Mission to boost tourism in Kumaon.
The Chief Minister emphasised the development of important rail projects, including the Tanakpur-Bageshwar and Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail lines, which will enhance connectivity in Uttarakhand.
The creation of the Char Dham All Weather Road and the Bharat Mala Project were also praised by him, and he claimed that these projects would not only make the Char Dham Yatra easier, but also fundamentally alter the local economy.
Last but not least, Dhami praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his commitment to Uttarakhand, demonstrated by the penalising of projects totaling over Rs 1.5 lakh crores since he took office.
