Kedarnath Dham Yatra: After a period of heavy rains and disruptions, the Shri Kedarnath Dham Yatra has regained momentum as weather conditions improve in the Kedar Valley. Over the past two days, more than 11,000 pilgrims have been visiting the sacred shrine daily, compared to the 4,000-5,000 who managed to reach during the rain-affected days. As of Tuesday evening, the total number of devotees for the season has reached 11,83,370.
Shri Kedarnath Dham Yatra Regains Momentum as Weather Clears
With the monsoon season coming to an end, the number of visitors is expected to continue rising. In recent years, the popularity of the Kedarnath Yatra has grown significantly. Last year alone, around 19 lakh devotees visited Shri Kedarnath, with the total number of pilgrims completing the Char Dham Yatra nearing 56 lakh.

However, this year, the Yatra faced major disruptions after heavy rains on July 31 caused road and footpath blockages, halting the pilgrimage for nearly a month. Now that the roads have been cleared and weather conditions have improved, the Yatra is once again picking up pace, allowing pilgrims to resume their spiritual journey to Baba Kedarnath.
