Lakhpati Didi Abhiyan: In an inspiring move to honor and empower women, the Lakhpati Didi Campaign has brought significant respect and financial support to the maternal power of society. The campaign focuses on elevating women’s financial independence and providing them with the necessary tools to succeed.
In Rudraprayag district, a total of 61 Lakhpati Didis were granted financial aid of ₹75,000 per individual. Additionally, six women’s groups were awarded CCL checks ranging from ₹1.5 lakh to ₹6 lakh, further aiding in their development and entrepreneurial pursuits. The campaign highlights the government’s commitment to the upliftment of women and the fostering of a self-sustaining ecosystem for female empowerment.
This initiative, which has garnered respect and recognition for women’s contributions, continues to inspire many, ensuring that the true potential of women is acknowledged and celebrated.
Financial Aid for Women’s Groups
As part of the initiative, six women’s self-help groups were provided with CCL (Cash Credit Limit) checks, amounting to sums between ₹1.5 lakh and ₹6 lakh. This financial assistance is aimed at supporting their entrepreneurial ventures, enabling them to start or expand businesses, and achieve economic self-reliance. The initiative also encourages women to collaborate within these groups, fostering a sense of community and mutual growth.
