Lok Sabha Election 2024: In an effort to ensure a smooth and safe Lok Sabha election process in Uttarakhand, Additional Chief Election Officer Vijay Kumar Jogdande has announced the deployment of two helicopters for emergency services.
Helicopter Deployment for Emergency Response
Speaking on the preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Jogdande revealed that all polling parties are set to depart, with provisions made for emergency situations. Two helicopters have been arranged to provide emergency services during the election process. One helicopter will be stationed in Garhwal, while the other will be deployed in Kumaon. These helicopters will be exclusively used for emergency purposes to address any unforeseen situations that may arise.

Jogdande expressed confidence that the election process in Uttarakhand will be conducted smoothly and without any casualties. He reassured the public that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure that voting this time will be casualty-free, with no emergency situations expected to occur.
