Controversy often goes on regarding Godse. There is a section in India which calls Godse a patriot and the other section calls him the murderer of Mahatma Gandhi. Now the statement of former Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat has come on this issue. He has called Gandhi’s killer Nathuram Godse a patriot. Rawat says that murder is a separate issue but as much as he understood and read Godse, he was a patriot.

Trivendra Singh Rawat, while talking to the media, has attacked Rahul Gandhi’s statement in America. Rawat said that his efforts will not help the Congress party. He said that Rahul is saying this because the condition of his party is deteriorating and he is in desperate and mental stress. The public will not accept a person going through mental stress at all.

Regarding Nathuram Godse, former Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat said that Nathuram Godse was a patriot, there can be no doubt about his patriotism. But what Gandhian is Rahul Gandhi doing?
