Uttarakhand: FIR filed over ‘conversion’ of woman, her two sons

A case has been registered against a youth for forcibly converting a woman and her two children. It is alleged that the young man forcefully took the woman away from the house and married her. After this, now he is threatening to kill on the phone. Police have started investigation in the matter by registering a case under the Religious Freedom Act.

In the case Taslima resident Nawada told the police that her niece Sania alias Reshma resident Nawada is married. Her husband is lodged in jail. On June 2, Jogiwala resident of Rajendra Panwar reached Reshma’s house and took her away. Reshma’s two children were also with him. It is alleged that on June 11, he married Reshma by threatening her.

The woman alleged that now Rajendra Panwar with his gun was uploading photos on WhatsApp and threatening her. It is alleged that Rajendra is threatening to kill his niece as well. SO Nehru Colony Lokendra Bahuguna told that on the basis of Taslima’s allegations, a case has been registered against Rajendra Panwar.
