Kedarnath Dham had a big accident on Sunday afternoon. UCADA’s Finance Controller Amit Saini died after hitting the helicopter fan. The accident happened when UCADA’s Finance Controller Amit Saini had gone to Kedarnath helipad for inspection.
Amit Saini got hit by the helicopter while getting down from the heli at Kedarnath helipad. This accident happened with the helicopter of Crystal Aviation Company.
SDRF officer Manikant Mishra said that the cause of the accident is being ascertained.
Kedarnath Dham Yatra is starting from 25th April
The pilgrimage to Baba Kedarnath Dham is starting from April 25, since there is very little time left in the yatra, the administration is engaged in preparations on a war footing. Helicopter services are also being improved for the convenience of pilgrims.
This time DGCA has given permission for nine helicopter services
It may be known that this time DGCA has given permission for nine helicopter services for Kedarnath Dham. Passengers will get helicopter services from Guptkashi, Phata and Shersi. To avail the helicopter service, passengers will have to book in advance. For this, passengers can book tickets on IRCTC http://heliyatra.irctc.co.in website.
Uttarakhand government issued health advisory
The Uttarakhand government has also issued a health advisory regarding the Chardham Yatra. Health check-up has been made mandatory for passengers above 55 years of age going on the journey. Along with this, other passengers have also been advised to come on the journey only after getting their health checkup done.
