Dehradun News: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami declared that the state assembly would soon convene a session to implement the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) law in Uttarakhand. He mentioned that the draft prepared by the five-member committee for the UCC has been completed, and as soon as it is received, a legislative session will be called to implement the law across the state.

He emphasized the significance of the Constitution, highlighting its continuous guidance for the nation. He highlighted the potential increase in employment opportunities and the check on hill migration resulting from these initiatives.
- Tourism Promotion: Dhami discussed the rapid development of religious and other tourism activities in the state. Initiatives such as Char Dham Yatra and the Manasihand Mandir Mala Mission aim to further promote religious tourism. He emphasized the importance of respecting and empowering women in the state, mentioning schemes like Mukhyamantri Lakhpati Didi Yojana.
