Uttarakhand News: The state of Uttarakhand, in collaboration with Mankind, a prominent pharmaceutical company in India, has taken a major step towards improving the quality of education in government schools by converting 110 of them into smart classrooms. The goal of this project is to bring these schools on par with private institutions across the country.
Modernising Government Schools with Smart Classes
According to Navodaya Times, Banshidhar Tiwari, the Director General of Education, stated that the department is dedicated to providing all government schools with the most up-to-date learning resources. The department plans to transform education through partnerships with commercial companies such as Mankind.
Comprehensive Upgrades for Enhanced Learning
There is more to this initiative than merely setting up digital boards in schools. Enhancing basic facilities like the water, power, and restrooms is part of it, since it guarantees a comfortable learning atmosphere for students. Modern seating arrangements will also be used to improve comfort and concentration during class.
Addressing the Teacher Shortage
The way this strategy links schools via smart courses is one of its creative features. Students from all connected schools can gain from the same lesson when a subject teacher teaches from one place. This helps to address the state’s teacher deficit while also standardising the quality of education.

To implement smart classrooms in all Uttarakhand government schools, a comprehensive action plan has been created. This innovative strategy promises to solve several educational obstacles and greatly enhance students’ overall learning experiences.
