Uttarakhand News: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated virtually in a program organized in Jamui, Bihar, on the occasion of Tribal Pride Day. The event was graced by the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlighting the government’s commitment to honoring the tribal communities and their contributions.
Uttarakhand CM Participates in Tribal Pride Day Program and Distributes Welfare Certificates
Following the program, CM Dhami distributed certificates to beneficiaries of key welfare schemes at the Mukhya Sevak Sadan, located at the Chief Minister’s residence. The beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Kisan Samman Nidhi, and Ayushman Card received their certificates as part of the government’s initiative to ensure support reaches every household.
Foundation Laid for Hostel Projects
As part of the welfare drive, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stones for two hostel buildings under the Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana in Gadarpur and Kotdwar. These projects aim to provide quality accommodation and facilities, especially for the underprivileged, fostering educational and social development in the region.
The Chief Minister emphasized the government’s dedication to improving the quality of life for its citizens through a combination of welfare schemes and infrastructural initiatives. The event reinforced the state’s commitment to inclusive growth and the empowerment of all sections of society.
