Uttarakhand News: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced several welfare initiatives for disabled individuals in the state. Speaking at an event, he highlighted the government's commitment to supporting the disabled under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
CM Dhami stated that more than 1 lakh disabled individuals in Uttarakhand are currently receiving pensions. The state government is ensuring that these benefits reach the intended recipients seamlessly, reinforcing its commitment to inclusivity and social welfare.
Camps for Equipment Distribution
In the coming months, camps will be organized in every district to distribute necessary equipment to disabled individuals. This initiative aims to empower them with tools that can improve their quality of life and provide them with greater independence.
Free IAS Coaching for Aspirants
Recognizing the aspirations of disabled individuals, the Chief Minister announced a groundbreaking scheme to provide free online IAS coaching. "This facility will be available to all Divyang brothers who wish to prepare for the IAS exams, ensuring they have equal opportunities to succeed," he said.
The announcements reflect the state government's proactive approach to addressing the needs of disabled individuals and promoting their inclusion in society.
