Uttarakhand News: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed the Principal Secretary to the CM, RK Sudhanshu, to initiate a state-wide road repair campaign immediately after the monsoon season ends. The Chief Minister emphasized that road improvement works should be carried out under a special campaign targeting both rural and urban areas of Uttarakhand.
Focus on Restoring Roads Across the State
The directive comes as a measure to address the damage caused to the state’s infrastructure during the heavy rains. The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) conveyed that the government is committed to ensuring better road conditions for citizens and plans to undertake comprehensive repairs to restore smooth connectivity across the state.
This initiative will enhance road safety and facilitate easier travel for both residents and visitors once the weather clears.
