Uttarakhand News: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced that the rescue operation in the region is nearing completion, with most of the stranded individuals now safely evacuated. Speaking on the progress, CM Dhami emphasized that the government’s priority is to restart the Yatra as soon as possible.
Successful Rescue Efforts
CM Dhami noted that the rescue efforts have been a collective success, with support pouring in from all agencies involved. “We are getting the support of all the agencies. All the state government agencies are working together, along with people from social organizations who have stepped forward to help in this entire campaign,” he stated.
Focus on Resuming the Yatra
With the majority of the rescue work completed, CM Dhami highlighted the urgency of resuming the Yatra, which is a significant pilgrimage in the region. “Everyone wants to start the Yatra as soon as possible, and we are working in this direction,” he added, reaffirming the government’s commitment to ensuring the safety and smooth resumption of the pilgrimage.
