Uttarakhand News: In a significant step towards sustainable energy, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced the state government’s ambitious plan to promote solar energy by setting a target of installing solar panels on all government buildings by 2025.

The government has allocated a substantial budget of Rs 100 crore for this initiative. The Chief Minister highlighted the importance of renewable energy in addressing the gap between energy production and consumption. “Renewable energy will play a big role in bridging the gap between energy production and consumption,” said CM Dhami.

In a ceremony held today, the Chief Minister inaugurated the installation of solar panels on 27 government buildings, marking the beginning of this large-scale initiative.
